Modern interface
Worksection looks like a mid-2010s product. Easylim is a new level of UX: fast, clean and obvious from the first click.
Worksection is familiar to many CEE teams, but the UI and features lag behind modern tools. AI only on Business+, no whiteboard, no screen recording, no full-fledged docs. Easylim is the next generation without losing the local experience.
TL;DR: when Easylim beats Worksection
Worksection gives you a basic PM toolkit familiar to CEE teams. But AI is gated to Business+, there's no whiteboard, no screen recorder, no modern docs, and Gantt and dashboards live in higher tiers. Easylim covers all that and feels like a 2025 product, not a 2015 one.

Worksection limits AI Search and Key Takeaways to Business+. Easylim AI is part of Business with broader scope — task generation, project drafting and workspace-wide search.
Worksection has no built-in whiteboard or screen recorder. Easylim has both — no extra tools required.
Worksection has basic text fields. Easylim has documents, pages and notes at Notion-level depth.
Worksection's process customization is limited. Easylim gives you full custom fields, statuses and automations.
Easylim is fully localized. The import from Worksection brings projects, tasks and assignees over.
Deep dive

Worksection is a Ukrainian PM tool that's been serving agencies, design studios and service businesses across Ukraine and CEE for over a decade. We're also a Ukrainian product, so we speak peer-to-peer: where Worksection genuinely got things right, where it's stuck in a dated UX, what Easylim does differently, and when you really shouldn't leave Worksection. We respect Worksection — they've walked a road we're only starting.
Розділ
Worksection is a classic agency PM tool: project → task → subtask → comment + time. Similar model to old Basecamp, but adapted for the Ukrainian/CEE market: a real time tracker with estimates, a simple Gantt, a finance block (budgets, acts, invoices) and Ukrainian localization since 2008.
Worksection's strength is agency specialization. Time tracker, hour estimates, per-client reports, invoicing — those aren't add-ons, they're core. Which is why Worksection still dominates among Ukrainian design studios, marketing agencies and IT outsourcing shops at 10–50 people.
Localization is genuinely full. Interface, docs, support — all in Ukrainian (and Russian for the CIS legacy). No global competitor matches that depth. For a team where the manager or accountant doesn't speak English, that's structural.

Local support. Worksection calls back, responds in Ukrainian, understands Ukrainian business context (FOP/sole-trader, acts, UAH invoices, bank transfers). No Asana or monday gives you that. Easylim is also Ukrainian, but Worksection has a 15-year head start in supporting UA agencies.
Finance block. Worksection ships built-in project budgets, acts of completed work, invoices. For an agency that bills clients hourly, that replaces a separate billing system. Easylim doesn't have a finance block (yet), so for agencies with a strong billing workflow Worksection still wins.
Per-client time reports. "How many hours did Alex work on Client X last month?" is bread and butter for agencies. Worksection answers in 2 clicks. We have a time tracker and reports too, but ours are younger feature-wise.
Розділ
UI is stuck in the mid-2010s. The interface is legible, but it visually looks like an old jQuery app. Younger teams raised on Notion, Linear, Figma feel it immediately — "something is off with the buttons". It's not fatal, but for onboarding new hires it's a friction point.
No AI. Worksection has no task generation, no discussion summaries, no natural-language search. In 2025 that's a structural gap — competitors have shipped AI for a year or two. Easylim AI generates tasks from text, searches the workspace, summarizes comment threads.
No whiteboard or screen recording. A modern product process often includes Miro-style whiteboards (for discovery and brainstorming) and Loom-style recordings (for async communication). Worksection has neither. Easylim has both built in.
Realtime collaboration is thin. Multiple people in one task — yes, Worksection supports it, but without live cursors and instant sync at Linear/Notion level. Noticeable on teams where inline collaboration is constant.
Розділ
We don't try to replace Worksection in agencies that have been on it for 5 years with full billing automation. That's Worksection's strength and those clients are there to stay. We play to teams who value Worksection's localization but want modern UX, AI and collaborative features.
We keep what's good about Worksection — Ukrainian support, a simple project-task-comment model, time tracker, Gantt. And we add AI (generation, summaries, search), whiteboard, screen recording, realtime cursors, Notion-level documents and public client links.
This isn't a "Worksection killer" — it's Worksection 2.0 for teams that grew up in the 2020s. Young marketing agencies, product teams, SaaS startups — we're a better fit there than for a classic design studio with a calcified workflow.

If you're a Ukrainian agency that's been on Worksection for 3+ years with established billing, acts and client reports — don't switch. For you Worksection isn't a "PM tool", it's your business operating system, and breaking it is expensive. We'd stay too.
Stay if: (1) WS's finance block (budgets, acts, invoices) is central to your process, (2) team is 30+ people used to the specific interface, (3) AI, whiteboard, realtime aren't needed in the next year, (4) your WS support rep calls you personally and you use that.
Switch when: (1) you're a young team (startup, product team, 5–20-person marketing agency), (2) you want AI, whiteboard, screen recorder and Notion-level docs, (3) your team grew up on Linear/Notion/Figma and WS's dated UI is putting them off, (4) realtime collaboration is critical to how you work. That's our typical client.
